The labor and delivery process is miraculous - and dangerous. Although many families give birth to healthy infants, others may experience complications that lead to injury. Medical advances have reduced the risk of these complications. However, in some cases these advances can be the reason for the injury.
One of the most common types of injury that often goes overlooked or untreated after a car accident is a minor traumatic brain injury. Often, because such injuries are not visible and because the effects can be difficult to quantify, the general public tends to ignore just how serious even a slight brain injury can be.
Because of the Food and Drug Administration, we expect that the food, drug and cosmetic products we see on store shelves are safe to use. If they are harmful, we expect proper labeling that indicates the danger and risks so that we as consumers can make an informed decision about whether or not to buy the product.
